I have owned another PAE8000 for about 6 months and it suddenly started having issues with the touch pad in portrait mode (wouldn't always get the T key). It may have been caused by a really bad scratch I put on it. Just in case, I ordered another one (this one) that had a newer version of Android, more memory and a faster processor. It arrived yesterday and my initial impression is that it is a much better phone. It is faster and gets better reception. However, the directions included for setting up a Straight Talk ATT sim are incorrect. You have to modify them according to what is on the Straight Talk site itself. The phone comes with a screen protector installed which is nice. My one complaint is the included case with the flap isn't practical for a phone. I am using the case that come with the older phone. It came very quickly.

Just got the phone today and so far I like it. I ordered the phone Saturday (3-2-13) and got it (3-4-2013) so super fast shipping, it has (play store) which great, it huge lol great for reading if your into thatIt comes with 2 batteries2 back plus a back with the cover attached so that'll make it 3.it's kind of slow but for the price I can deal with it.All i had to do was put my sim card in it and it was working with no problem.I have T-mobile I dont know how it would work with any other phones.Only downside to me is I can't get T-Mobile tv on it other then that great phone!*UPDATE* (3-5-13)Okay so I've had time to play with this phone and I'm considering sending it back now, reason being I can't watch vidoes on it and it's extemely slow! You can't watch Netflix or Hulu Plus so basically all you can do is make calls, text and surf the web and even that's slow! Maybe it's just me I don't know but the phone says 3/4g compatible and it's not acting as such so...I'mma give it another day and wait until the saler contacts me and see what happens.Okay so the phone can get YouTube, facebook, twitter and the internet is moving faster now, I can also hook up the hotspot on the phone to connect to my laptop and tablets so that's also good still no NetFlix or Hulu but apparently the problem is with T-mobile not being that compatible with this device!

This ( Star N8000 MTK6565/6577 ) Made in San-Chai factory in ShenZhen China next-door to the International super city called Hongkong has been out Since last Summer 2012 with tons of Videos on Youtube to demo/support including my videos. I only recommand to buy this phone from USA sellers with 3 days shipping & delivery because if you order any phones that is coming from China/Oversea you will end up on a waiting list with slow boat from China that take 12 days - 2 weeks with your item might be returned back to the sellers by the Custom Duty at port of entry for Trademark/copy-right or end-up paying US Custom Duty-import Tax. I has been buying from this company in California for my NYC Chinatown friends that dont understand English... The phone is set up in American English language with the bloodly dollar store called Google Play-Store (Android Market) which I've to Re-Set the phone to both Chinese & English Language's and installed a Chinese language Free cost Android Market called ANZHI with all the Free Chinese P2P Apps for Asian Multi-Media that is TV Drama/HongKong-DVD Movies / Asian style Games as a multi-media SmartphonePad and Yes with Office PDA Apps for their personel needs and Appt booking etc. I highly recommand anyone to buy this phone plus another $45 with Square Trade Full Service with one year Drop/ Accident Warranty.. Everyone will be very happy just only 70 cents perday in just one year you're able to buy a new phone every year and sell your used phone without losing hundreds of dollars from T-Mobile& AT&T .
