4Great as a first Android phone
By Panther
This phone is an entry-level Android device that will be a best fit for those making a transition from a regular phone to a smartphone. Had it for four months and recently traded it up for Samsung Exhibit II, which actually doesn't feel as convenient as Optimus. The phone supports most of the tasks you'd expect from a smartphone. Processor is rather slow, so be sure not to overload it with multiple widgets running on the home screen.Supports tethering (i.e. using it as a USB hi-speed internet modem) as well as portable WiFi hotspot. No need to pay extra to the provider for these features. Need to install a whole bunch of drivers from LG web site before you can connect it to a PC.Comes with a lot of useless demo software and games pre-installed, removing which requires rooting - again, a good exercise that helps to embrace the full power of Android. If you go out of country with this phone, T-Mobile provides a priceless WiFi calling app for this. No more international roaming fees as long as you have WiFi access.A few disadvantages: no camera flash; no front-facing camera (only matters for video chat e.g. Skype); screen resolution good but not great (480x320 pixels); internal memory rather limited so most of the apps need to be moved to the included microSD card; can't support Adobe Flash player (YouTube still works). The phone is not future proof - no software updates from LG or T-Mobile are expected.Various versions of this phone are available from all major carriers under different names (LG Optimus One, LG Phoenix, LG Thrive, Optimus S, Optimus V).Currently (January 2012) the Amazon prices are way higher than at major retailers. This phone usually sells new for $130 at BestBuy, Walmart, RadioShack, etc. Often it can be found for $100 on sale. With a 2-year contract, it's free.If you haven't had T-Mobile before and not sure about the coverage in your area I recommend purchasing it in a regular store where you can return it without a hassle and trying it out for a couple of weeks. T-Mobile coverage can be spotty especially in rural areas. Keep in mind that even though they provide free roaming within the US, as soon as you start to roam you lose 3G data speed and drop to slower 2G speed.I would recommend this phone as a quality value smartphone.

3Battery life is one day or less, pocket-dials 911, freezes all the time
By Niki
This phone... I bought this phone seven months ago and can't wait to replace it. I've been waiting to replace it pretty much since day one. The first month I had the phone it would freeze all the time. I don't have a house phone and was living alone at the time so returning it was more of a hassle than keeping it. Wish I would have returned it. It was a great upgrade from my MetroPCS phone that wasn't a smart phone, but the excitement seriously died down in a few weeks. Here's why:I have to charge the battery every night. Most days I don't talk on the phone, just text. Maybe read a news article and check my email. Sometimes, the phone doesn't even make it through the day because the apps stay on in the background if you don't go to the settings screen and manually turn them off. All you need is one app running in the background to kill your battery before the day ends.It freezes. It's too slow. It can't handle anything. My boyfriend's Droid is three years old and works better and faster than mine.It pocket-dials 911 waaay too easily. When you lock the phone, it allows you to call 911 by touching two buttons, one to activate the screen and one to call. This phone has all these great features, but what good are they when the phone can't handle them, or when the battery is dead?! I'm seriously not even in to the latest technology and the most exciting phones and I still would not recommend this phone, to anyone!

1NO memory makes this one painful to own!
By AlexJouJou
As others have noted this phone has less than adequate memory internally - I'm not sure what the amount is you can use but right now ALL I have on it are Kindle and Dropbox. That's it. It's FULL. No space. Phone storage space low. So if I want to ride a train I have to delete off the Kindle App and put on the Metro App. Then when finished I have to delete off the Metro App and put on the Kindle App. I put the Kindle App on the SD card - still no good. My experience has been even with a SD Card you will only get 1-4 Apps on it because many of the Apps cannot be put on the SD card. It comes pre loaded with a bunch of bloated Apps such as youtube, twitter, and facebook that you *cannot* get rid of. I am serious that I get a phone storage space full about every 5 days and end up constantly deleting one app to use another then reinstalling it later. It is a bat you-know-what crazy way to have to live in 2012 with a Smartphone! The battery seldom lasts a day. If I don't even use it I HAVE to charge it every night or it is dead by morning.Don't even get me started on the swipe (which worked great on my Droid and barely works at all on this one!) or the keyboard which is awful and either too sensitive or not sensitive enough. I spend so much time backspacing and deleting on this every time I have to use the keyboard that I'd rather do ANYTHING than use it!Additionally the camera is flat out awful. You might as well not bother at all. I know this is considered an entry level phone but I'm not sure who would enjoy it. Even entry level people deserve a camera that actually takes a non fuzzy picture and a phone that can have more than 2-3 apps installed at a time to be used! Highly unrecommended! I am actually paying to get out of my contract early just to get a phone that actually works that will perform to 2012 standards!

5Great Phone!
By Lyudmila Poperechnaya
This is an awesome phone. I ordered it, and got discouraged because it said it was going to take a whole month to deliver. It came here in 2 weeks! When I got the phone, I was amazed because this was a huge upgrade from my old phone. There are tons of things you can do, and apps you can get. There's cable TV on this phone! The resolution is great, and the phone is loud when you get calls. Mine came with a case, that has a little trouble staying on but its pretty cool. In other words, if an iPhone is a Ferrari, your getting yourself a nice, BMW :))

4Excited
By candice
I ordered my phone March 15th, estimated delivery date was April 9th-April 29th. My phone arrived March 23rd! It came with 2 batteries, headphones and a USB charger. Using this phone through Straight Talk which was pretty easy to set up. Have not fully figured out all the features yet and am having a little trouble with getting Apps but that is probably because I havent been able to just sit down and explore the phone the way I want. Once I figure everything out, I think it will be a great phone, so I'm excited and will update about anything new I learn.*****UPDATE*****This is an excellent phone! Had a hard time getting apps on it due to the whole Google and China disagreement but once i figured out a way around it this phone is amazing! Im able to access/ download all apps. Has same features and graphics as Samsung Galaxy S3 {compared mine with a friend who has it}. My only problem is finding a case, the phone is too small for the Galaxy S3 but too large for the S3 Mini.

4Possibly the perfect BlackBerry replacement ...
By Computer Keith
First off, this phone is obviously aimed at BlackBerry users. I personally moved to his phone from an aging BlackBerry Curve 8320 (the one with the little trackball and full QWERTY keyboard) and felt right at home with it's keyboard immediately. If you never were a heavy BlackBerry user and you're OK with on-screen keyboards, then I can't see you ever choosing this model and being happy about it. It's got to be the smallest Android screen I've ever seen, and depending upon what you're planning on doing, that's a huge sacrifice. This particular Maxwest model is now popping up all over the place at attractive prices, and so far I haven't seen any reviews anywhere. So I'm going to err to the side of being wordy to give a first-hand, honest opinion. What's good:This is a solid piece of equipment. It doesn't feel "cheap", has a nice weight to it and it's slim profile is a natural fit for an average sized hand. In a manner similar to a BlackBerry, the keys are amply spaced such that you don't find yourself generating incorrect keystrokes because of the size of your fingers. The screen, though very small for an Android phone, offers very sharp, extremely legible text. I'm forty something and don't find it difficult to use at all. Accepted a cheap, generic 32GB microSDHC without a hitch to provide plenty of storage. The music player is better than average and reads the .m4a files from my iTunes library natively. I simply copied the 8GB "iTunes Library" folder from my computer to the SDHC card and all 2500+ of my songs showed up instantly with all of their tagged information. Also, getting it to work with the SIM card from my T-Mobile account was absolutely painless. I just took the SIM out of my BlackBerry and put it into this phone instead ... done! What's not so good:Battery life from the stock 1000mah battery is definitely a problem. (More on that later) The tiny 320x240 screen is incompatible with some Android apps that just refuse to support such a small resolution. This is a resistive, not a capacitive screen. As resistive screens go, it's very good ... but if you're used to capacitive touch, it will take some getting used to. Android version 2.2 (Froyo) is somewhat dated and there is no upgrade path that I know of. The 1.3MP camera is pretty basic and seems to be an afterthought. Yes, it works, but if that's something you often find yourself using your phone for, then this probably isn't the phone for you. There is also no hardware volume control, and the keyboard surprisingly offers no way of typing some rather common symbols (single quotes and curly brackets will no longer be a part of your conversations). And documentation for this phone is non-existent. I'm still discovering things almost daily after 3 weeks of heavy use.Observations:If you're a heavy app user, you need a bigger screen than this. Period, the end. But if you're like me, you only used your BlackBerry for telephone, texting, calendar, and a convenient notepad that's always with you. I don't even have a data plan! The Curve was wonderful in this regard, because used this way with a bulging extended (Cameron Sino) battery, I could go 7-10 days between charges. If you fit that profile, this is the perfect phone! The telephone experience is very similar. The stock SMS program is an upgrade from BlackBerry, and there are far better calendar and notepad applications available for free in the Android (Google Play) store than anything I ever found for the BlackBerry. As a bonus, I've gained automatic sync with my Google account every time I turn on the WiFi ... which I've found to be quite handy. You will need to download a volume app, however, if you hope to control in-call volume. I was ready to send it back until I discovered that such an app existed. The only caveat is the battery life, as that 1000mah stock battery is going to require a charge every 2-3 days with WiFi off, and daily if you leave it on. Thankfully, there is a great solution! This phone shares a battery (and therefore charge accessories) with Nokia 6720, N81, N82 and others. The battery is Nokia BP-6MT. If you search here, you can find battery chargers and extended life batteries that will work with this phone. I picked up several extended batteries (supposedly 2430mah) from eCell and have had great success with them so far. I'm not sure I believe 2430mah, but I do get nearly 2x the time between charges in my average use. That's not quite what my Curve used to do, but for the enhanced notepad/calendar/texting capabilities and a MUCH slimmer phone (the eCell battery is the same size as the original) I'll take the tradeoff. I'm VERY happy with this phone. Great value for it's bargain pricepoint.

3Main camera resolution is actually 0.8MP and other things...
By Juan
- Amazon.com says the phone has a 1.3MP camera but the actual main camera max resolution is 1024x768=0.8MP.- Also, seller (computer geeks, geeks.com) says is FCC approved but the phone FCC ID YNFANDROID3100 (as identified in the label within the box) is not in the FCC database. Other phones by Maxwest are in the FCC database, but not this one.Check transition DOT fcc DOT gov/oet/ea/fccid/- Since the phone doesn't have a side volume rocker button, you can control the volume with the keyboard arrows keys if you keep pressing them until the volume setting option shows on the screen. For me, the speaker volume and call volume are low, even at max settings. You can hear the other party but it is not loud.- The resistive touchscreen works fine.

5Very nice gadget
By Dispie
I received mine in the end of December. A month is probably not enough to discover all bugs but so far I'm happy with the phone.First of all, it is really fast. The 1GHz processor does it's job.The screen resolution is high and the screen size is big enough to surf the web with comfort.HTC shell is something new to me (I used to have E-ten with Spb Mobile shell) but getting used to it.Cannot say that I'm impressed with the still picture quality (SE phones have better pictures with less Mpx) but video recording is relatively good. There is no button for shutter so you always have to click on the screen to take picture - not convenient.I need to charge my phone every second day - that definitely exceeded my expectations, taking into consideration fast processor and big hi-res screen. The screen uses almost full width of the body, which sometimes causes unexpected clicks when I grab the phone (slowly getting used to it). When browsing e-mails the shell has button "reply to all" on the left side and when you click it, it changes to "send". One time I grabbed the phone and it replied to all and sent an empty message to a huge distribution list. So keep it in mind and be careful ;) I hope there will be a way to protect it somehow. The phone is bigger than I expected - it's exactly the size of 12oz beer can (you can hide one behind the phone). The sound level and quality in conversations is excellent. Also, my Highlander hands-free connects very quickly with good sound level. So far I did not have chance to use built-in GPS. I don't expect anything special comparing to other similar phones. It does not have a stylus. If you turn the phone, full size keyboard is big enough but.. I think I will get a stylus. At least you need one, when you surf Internet.Overall - some little flaws, which I found so far, will not be enough to downgrade my 5 star rating. I really enjoy the phone and recommend it to others who is ready to spend [...] bucks on a gadget.

5Expectations exceeded
By Antonio Martínez
OK! I bought this phone considering two main reasons:1.- I wanted a Widows mobile phone2.- I wanted a gigantic screen to surf the web, watch videos and pictures, etc. This phone runs Windows Mobile 6.5 with HTC Sense which is an excellent HTC Shell, brilliant, executive, serious, innovative, useful, customizable and extremely user friendly. First request has been fulfilled. This is the greatest screen you'll find... There's just 1 device that comes closer (Toshiba TG01) and it is 0.2 inches smaller (Toshiba 4.1" / HD2 4.3") So my second reason is clearly covered. Indeed it is bigger than what I thought and I am obviously happy about it.Extras: A LOT!!! The design is perfect, but device's pictures describes it better than my words, it is so elegant and I like it very much.Camera resolution is fine (not the best) but it does its job. Still pictures are very nice and video recording quality is also very good. I am very impressed about taking still pictures on dark environments beacuse it gets a highly brilliant and beautiful pictures. Its two led flash allows you to photograph almost anything on black dark environments (as long as it is closer enought to light it)The capacitive screen prevents unwanted touches from any other thing that is not your finger (or skin) and it has a proximity sensor so you won't click buttons with your face when talking on the phone. This proximity sensor turns off the screen when you place the phone on your ear and turns it back on when removed.Battery life is amazing considering 1GHz processor and extra giant screen, I get more than 24hrs of power listening to music, placing and receiving calls, sending and receiving SMS, MMS, surfing the web through WiFi, GPRS, EDGE or 3G (any available) and "playing" with GPS, google maps, Garmin, etc.It comes with an extremely addictive game (Teeter) that uses the built-in accelerometer to move a ball while you move the phone, the objective is to insert the ball in a green hole preventing the gray ones.It has a built-in connection with Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Windows Live, so your contacts are always up-to-date with status, tweets, profile pictures and even birthdays! (it stores birthdays on the calendar and alerts you on the go)Microsoft has a very useful software "MyPhone" (not exclusive for this device but 4 all Windows Mobile phones) which allows you to sync contacts, calendar, pictures, text messages, music, documents, storage card contents and even location. This lets you change your device and by simply synchronizing with a couple of clicks, your new device will be exactly as the old one, and you don't even need a computer 'cause it stores the content on your Windows Live account. (I've heard about a lot of BB users who loses their contacts when updating the BB messenger) So this deserves a big "Hurrah" for Microsoft. I found it soooo useful and important. The stock manager allows you to keep track of your stocks, always up-to-date, it can even show graphics for 1 day behavior, 5 days, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 1 and 2 years.Storage card is placed below the back cover and it is not below the battery, so you can change it while phone is still on. It supports up to 32 GB microSD HC.Applications included are very useful, I saw a review that talks about the simple calculator and this is wrong... it is not so simple, it has a simple calculator when holding the phone in a vertical position and you can get a scientific calculator if you turn your phone and hold it horizontal. The MP3 trimmer allows you to cut an MP3 file in a determinated position and save and extract of it to use it as a ringtone.Office Mobile includes OneNote where you can write using the keyboard or handwritting. (I also read a review that says that this phone won't let you handwrite to create a message), this is also wrong... you can turn on this function on the keyboard options while you are writting your message.WorldCard Mobile (found on tools) is an OCR recognition engine that lets you take a picture of a bussiness card and it recongnizes names, email, website, address, phones, etc and save it to a new contact so you don't have to write it manually.Remote Desktop Mobile lets you connect to any PC, the digital compass can be combined with google maps to get directions or orientate on unknown places and this HD2 can be configured as a WiFi router to use your mobile internet connection everywhere (GPRS, EDGE or 3G) so your laptop will be always online no matter where you are, it can connect to a network or bluetooth printer to print your documents on the go including Acrobat PDF documents. The Opera browser and even IE are flash compatible and you can navigate almost as if you are in front of your desktop PC.The performance for this device is impressive with its 1GHz processor and as if this is not enought out there are millions of software apps that can be installed and customize your phone covering all your needs. So, I can see no reasons why not to buy this monster. I hope that my review helps you decide what you want.

5Windows Phones Make a Comeback
By diljs
As an avid user of smartphones, for years I've completely ignored a series of dull, uncreative phones running windows. While a variety of hardware form factors, some even technically superior to the competition, have come out, the software continued to look incredibly boring compared to the iPhone, Android, and even Blackberry. The main selling points consisted of "It runs windows and has a start button like you're used to on a computer" and "We have Office and sync with Outlook!". While these may have appealed to some business customers, the consistently shrinking market share of Windows phones demonstrated their lack of appeal to consumers as the recent smartphone boom hit. With the HD2 this trend may finally be coming to an end. In conjunction with HTCs beautiful Sense interface, some aggressive hardware, and some genuine innovations, the HD2 is a Windows phone I can actually use and recommend. Let's start with the pros and follow up with a few drawbacks.**Hardware**-The 1ghz Snapdragon processor coupled with 448mb of ram is blazing fast. This is the fastest speed in a phone currently available. The HD2 loads everything quickly, and can run multiple apps at the same time. You can feel how fast the phone runs by playing with it for a few minutes. Gone are the sluggish Windows Phones of old, constantly running out of memory and crashing. The HD2 is fast and has top notch hardware and you can feel it.-The screen is huge: 4.3 inches and stretching from corner to corner. The Resolution at 800x480 pixels means you'll see much more on that big screen than average. That means more room for icons and that sexy weather display on the main screen.-The HD2 supports 3g on T-mobile, including the upcoming higher speed 3g. This means the fastest downloads and best call quality available. Note: the phone does NOT have ATTs 3g bands and the 3g will not work if you're using it unlocked on ATT.-5mp camera with auto focus and 2 LEDs. 5mp is the highest we see on most phones, and the camera looks great. Having not 1 but 2 LEDs for flash seems a bit silly but works well. The phone even comes standard with a little flashlight app for a blindingly bright way to see in the dark.-Included 3.5mm jack - this is becoming standard on most phones, and it's great to see it on the HD2. This allows you to use standard headphones without an adapter when playing music or listening to the built in FM Radio.-Included wifi, bluetooth, and a hardware (real) GPS for turn by turn directions round out all the bells and whistles included in the phone.-Battery life is similar to most smartphones. You will easily get a day's use without having to charge, but most likely you'll have to plug it in at night.**Interface**-HTC Sense is what really makes the phone shine here. This part of the software is done by HTC, not Windows, and runs on top of standard Windows Mobile 6.5 professional. HTC Sense expands on the previous TouchFLO 3d interface and enhances the way customers interact with the phone. Sense creates the beautiful Today screen, animations for messages, social networking features. It also lets you interact with the phone in unique ways, such as pinching to zoom. Some of these features are so close to the iPhone that Apple has recently filed lawsuits against HTC.-The home screen is customizable, though not quite to the extent of Android phones. It lets you place a few apps on the screen, along with a beautiful standard weather app that detects your phone's location and shows the current time and weather in your city.-Touch is a much better experience on this phone than previous windows mobile phones. The screen is capacitive, meaning it uses touch instead of pressure. No awkward stylus or pushing is needed for the touch to work. The phone responds quickly and smoothly to any motions.-Basic phone features like placing a call or sending a text remain simple, with big buttons on the main screen to do so.-Typing on the touchscreen is a breeze due to the size of the screen allowing for a bigger keyboard. As someone who has often stuck to phones with hardware keyboards due to inaccurate screen keyboards, I found typing on the HD2 much easier than previous touchscreen keyboards, although still not as easy as using a hardware keyboard. The HD2 also includes the new SWYPE interface, which lets you type by dragging your fingers through all the letters of a word instead of tapping each one. SWYPE was surprisingly accurate in typing the correct word and will even learn new words once you type them manually.**Included Apps and Accessories**-This phone is being marketed as a media phone, and includes several media apps to demonstrate that. MobiTV lets you watch what is essentially Cable TV on your phone free for 30 days and then ten dollars a month after that. Blockbuster lets you rent or buy movies for your phone. Barnes and Noble eReader lets you purchase ebooks.-The phone comes with a huge 16gb MicroSD card out of the box. This is the biggest memory card available currently, and gives you plenty of room for pictures, videos, music, and apps. The best memory card pairs perfectly with the best processor and screen, and it's great that HTC did not hold back on this extra.-Full videos of Transformers 1 and 2 are preloaded on the memory card. These videos look great and show off the beautiful screen. Note the movies do take about 4gb of space on the memory card.-The phone comes with a gel skin in the box to protect the phone, which you would have to buy separately on most phones.**Drawbacks**-Price is the number one concern here. The phone is priced higher than competing smartphones. This price seems justified, however, due to the cutting edge hardware in the HD2. It also comes with some nice accessories you'd have to buy separately from other phones. Upgrade and new customer deals will certainly lower the cost for those buying from T-mobile.-The app store is another drawback. The good news is that the phone has one, the bad news is it's the smallest of ANY smartphone operating system. As of this review the Windows Marketplace carried less than 1,000 applications, compared to Android at 20,000 apps and iPhone at a staggering 150,000 apps. Even Blackberry, Palm, and Nokia carry more apps than Windows. You are also going to find significantly more paid than free applications for Windows Mobile apps. The Marketplace is simply far behind that of competing phones, which for a heavy app user will diminish the enjoyment of the HD2 by quite a bit.-Windows Mobile 7 upgradeability is still up in the air, but it currently looks like this phone will NOT be getting an upgrade when the new OS is released. The phone does not support some key hardware feature (front buttons) that WM7 requires, and therefore it is unlikely to be upgraded. The upcoming OS promises to be very exciting, and the fact that this beautiful phone will probably not receive the upgrade is disappointing.Overall this phone is fast, pretty, and offers top of the line features. The phone feels solid (and huge) in your hand, while the software is fast, works well and is fun to use. If the HD2 is any indicator, Windows Mobile may become a legitimate competitor in the smartphone market again. The phone seems to be selling very well, with T-mobile selling out almost everywhere the day the HD2 was released. I'd recommend this phone as a viable alternative to Android and the iPhone.

3android of the future
By Albert Santiago
PHONE is very futuristic in presence. It will capture everyone's attention. Looks like a heart monitor on your wrist. Lol. Literally. WiFi capable works well. Bluetooth capabilities. Speaker on voice calls sounds low but with headset sounds well. MP3 / MP4 sounds loud & clear. Apps that dont exceed o.s 2.2 work well. Pandora,YouTube,Google maps, voice search , voice commands. Games work but screen is smaller than most phones plus on your wrist makes it uncomfortable. Video chats don't work even though there's a camera/camcorder built-in & even if , the eye is placed, sideways instead of in the top center of the screen as it should have. Battery life is about 8-10 hours on sleep mode and 4-6 hours while using but depends on what your using it for as internet takes most power and text and calls take the least. I almost forgot, the charger is short and its male to female usb. It charges within 30 minutes. 8 gb micro sd with adapter. If you have chubby fingers, I recommend a thin stylus. I'm still testing the capabilities, so far shows promise. I highly recommend it for techies, however , for other consumers id say wait till they perfect the smart watch. If your a consumer that only needs it to check your fb, Twitter and other social networks and talk, text and listen to music ? Then buy this. Buy it and you wont regret it. And yes , you get email too. ;)

4SVP Z1 Android Smart Watch
By Roger
I have 5 other Phone Watches and this one is by far the best of them in most aspects.1. Phone quality: I tried to use the included bluetooth headset and the sound quality on the other end of the conversation is poor. The speaker phone is real soft and makes a static/hissing sound when you hit the speakerphone button on the phone. So, if you are in a loud area you might be out of luck unless you find a headset with better sound quality.2. Camera: I have 5 other watch phones and this watch has a killer Video/Camera compares to the other on the market. I am a big video recording person and love that this thing takes great Videos and pictures. So, they don't compare to my Galaxy S III's pictures or videos. The video is smooth and I assume it shoots at 30FPS.3. WIFI: The WIFI doesn't always seem to work and I am not sure why. I can get the WIFI to work at work but not at home... your experience may vary.4. SIM Card: This SVP Z1 adnroid watch uses a standard SIM card and only has one SIM card slot. I use T-Mobile and I ended up going to a monthly plan from the Pay as you go plan due to the fact that I wanted to use the Internet. So, if you don't care about using the Internet or using data you can go with "Pay as you Go" option.5. Functions: The phone doesn't come with the Google Play Store... it comes with APTOIDE. So far I have been able to find most of the stuff I have on my Galaxy SIII. The phone has a calculator, Alarm, sound recorder, Video recorder and camer, Internet and a few other things.6. I did notice that you can do APP to SD to save memory on the phones memeory. Yes, the phone does come with an 8Gig memory card.7. LCD screen: The LDC screen is not the highest quality and it's not the lowest quality. That being said, I have noticed some yellowish tint in the white areas of the background pictures and when taking some video's. The picture will fade depending on what angle you look at it and it looks "washed out". The Colors are not "POPPING" like I was hoping they would but what can you expect from a $234 Phone watch. There isn't a pen to use on the screen and typing on the "Micro QWERY keyboard" is a little fustrating at times. Conclusion: I would recommend this to anyone who like the coolness factor and would like something that they could use as to take video or picture without wipping out their bulky camera or phone, if they don't want to take their phone with them or if it dies they have a backup.Update 3/4/13I found my jabra bluetooth headset and it seems to work just fine with call quality. So, I guess I am totaly satisfied with this watch. So, as things come up I will post updates.

3Android 2.2 Smartphone Watch
By Bruce
I have only had this Smartphone watch for 2 days. Overall, it would be a fun toy and would probably consider buying the next generation model, but I had to return this one because it came out of the box with a dead pixel on the LCD screen. Slightly frustrating nonetheless. I didn’t have much time to necessarily give this a fair review, so I’m giving you my initial impressions after my 2 days of having the phone. The backlighting is overpowered and leaves more to be desired. The LCD screen always looks white-washed/faded out and brightness levels do not do much for the LCD screen. WiFi range is good considering a device as small as this, however it is slow and turned off at random intervals. I had set the option for WiFi to connect automatically when in range, but it failed to do this on numerous occasions. Camera is well positioned for taking pictures, but improbable to use for video conferencing. Unfortunately, does not have a true dual core processor as advertised and would assume it has much less than 2 GB of RAM. I would recommend using a solid picture/color as the background as trying to use one of the Live Wallpapers pre-installed on the watch lags and chops up the animation. Does not have the Google Play store, but instead uses Aptoide. Standby battery life is great, but when you are browsing the internet or downloading, the battery life significantly reduces.
